Loved the location and the size - it was very spacious. It was able to accommodate all of us. We loved cooking in the kitchen and preparing our own cooked meals. Lots of room and even though we did not go outside as much - the yard was beautiful and felt nice to be outside in the fresh air.

A home away from home ❤️ The house was lovely, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. I was travelling with parents and a small child - so split levels meant everyone could have their own space and a big communal area on the ground floor which was perfect for us all. Location was great. A short cab ride into town, but walkable too. Close by to Arthur’s Seat, which is a must to do while in Edinburgh. Karen and Carina are amazing hosts, very responsive and went above and beyond for us. Would highly recommend! Thank you.

I stayed at this wonderful property for a few days right after getting married, kicking off my honeymoon while also showing my new in-laws some of the best parts of the UK. The entire family had a great time here—it’s clean, very spacious, and truly felt like home. We did run into a minor issue with a bathroom leak (a bit of bad luck on my part, I suppose), but the host was incredibly responsive and did everything they could to resolve it quickly. I really appreciate how it was handled and am grateful for the prompt attention. Overall, I highly recommend this lovely property. If I’m ever in Edinburgh again with family or friends, I’d definitely check if this place is available before considering other options in the Old Town area. House is really well laid out and was ideal for our group of 3-couples. Very clean, warm and loads of hot water. Communication with the property manager Karen was excellent. We normally stay a little closer to the centre of Edinburgh, but once we got our bearings, it's actually a decent location. Short walk to a big Sainsbury's and it's only about a 15-minute walk from Picardy Place. We would definitely consider again next time we are in Edinburgh.

the house was lovely, perfect for our stay. the majority of us were attending a conference close by and the location allowed us to walk each day. nice area and really easy to get around from. great coffee close by on our walk in. everything you need is very close. the house itself was well kitted out, lots of great additions in the kitchen cupboards and bathrooms of the bits you normally forget when going to an air bnb it was great to be able to bring my dog, the garden was perfect for her and there was easy walking to a lovely park and lots of dog friendly places close by. It really felt like a home from home

This is a beautiful home from home! Very comfortable and has everything you need for a break away. There's a Sainsbury's just round the corner, the Royal Mile and Arthur's Seat are also a short walk away. When we are back in Edinburgh we will absolutely check the availability here! We had a Great stay at Carina’s place. Very clean, warm and welcoming. Perfect location to access the city. Would recommend this place to others and would likely stay again when we visit Edinburgh. Carina was on hand for anything we needed. Perfect Christmas get away with the family

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this fine house. It's spacious, stylish, comfortable and well-equipped. We didn't take the car but found it easy to get around the city's attractions with some walking and some taxis. We tried some of the recommended local bars and cafés - all very good. We'd certainly be happy to stay there again.

Carina’s place was exactly as listed, very spacious and spotless when we arrived. Very modern with lovely furnishings. About a 20 minute walk from the station. Check in was easy and despite being so close to the centre, the air BnB was in a lovely quiet spot. The black out blinds in each bedroom were great and the beds were very comfy. Will definitely book again if we’re back in Edinburgh.

Carina's place exceeded our expectations! by far, one of THE best Airbnbs we've stayed in. It is tastefully decorated, immaculately clean, it has all that a family of 4 could need especially the kitchen amenities. Plus, It's very close to all of the popular Edinburgh sights. They clearly have a high standard of hospitality and 5 stars does not adequately match what their place provides. We give it 10 stars. 😊.
